This is another collage experiment I created but instead of just cutting and layering I also added paint onto the collage. I like this effect because it is abstract and obscures a lot of the background and my you notice the people at the bottom of the image much more. I feel to develop or improve this idea I could maybe mix, blend and experiment with much more coloured paints.
I then tried cutting up the image for this collage instead of ripping the image. When I cut the image up I then placed it back like a puzzle but moved some of the rectangles from were I cut it up. This really made the houses of parliament/ big ben look like its in parts and that its falling down. I then added some random coloured paint into the gaps of were I had placed the cut up parts together. Overall I don't think this is my best collage and don't really like working with paints but I do like this cut up puzzle effect.
This was my last collage that I created. I used the ripping technique to add more layers to the image and also added more to the image to complete big ben from a photocopy of the other image I had of big ben. In this collage I decided to experiment with coloured fine liner and coloured chalk. I do like the chalk because I really like the smudge effect and its good to add small bits of colour to the image. With the blue fine liner I went over outlines in some parts of the image, I do like this but feel I should've used a thinner fine liner and maybe a different colour.
