The Pinhole Camera.

What is a pinhole camera?

A pinhole camera, also known as Camera Obscura, is a simple imaging device in the shape of a closed box or light proof room.

The basic principle behind a pinhole camera is the light enters through the pinhole at the front of the container (E.g. a tin) travels through the light proof box and hits the photographic paper at the back of the box. The paper reacts to the light and where the light falls the image is then formed on the paper (upside down) and where there is no light the paper remains white.
