This is my bokeh background that I created in photoshop, I did this by first creating a black background and then changing the brush stroke to scattered and also changing the opacity. I created three different layers using the same settings but for each layer I changed the size of the brush. I then blurred the back layer using the gaussian blur effect. I also added a purple overlay gradient layer and a lens flare to create nice colour and lighting effects.
